PICS Scholar, architect & UBC master's student, Ilana Judah, worked with BC Housing to co-develop the 'Integrated Building Adaptation & Mitigation Assessment (IBAMA) framework & tools for use by building owners, managers and developers. IBAMA integrates climate mitigation/adaptation considerations when designing, constructing & operating multi-unit residential buildings. The long term goal is that the IBAMA framework will influence future building codes, standards, and construction best practices in BC and abroad.
