BC Land Summit Presents... From Mall to Amazing: the Brentwood Story

The BC Land Summit Society welcomes this opportunity to present the inaugural complimentary webinar, hosted by the BCSLA! There will be quarterly webinars leading up the the 2024 BC Land Summit in Nanaimo, BC from May 8-10, 2024.

Darren Kwiatkowski, Executive Vice President, New Development, Shape Properties and Ian Wasson, BCSLA, FCSLA, Senior Development & Urban Design Planner, City of Burnaby, and a registered landscape architect, will provide a lively and informative session on the transformation of the Brentwood Town Centre from auto oriented retail to mixed use high density touching upon: the evolution of the Brentwood Town Centre; how this led to one of the most remarkable real-estate transactions in the history of Metro Vancouver; the subsequent redevelopment of one of Canada’s oldest malls into one of its most transformative; and how emblematic this was of the wider change to this town centre and the rest of the region - including lessons learned.” Register by March 27, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
